| Bio: | The Character Basics Name: John "Jack" Fallon Gender: Male Age/Birthdate: August 20 1977, 46 Sexuality: He's disinclined to answer this question, but isn't likely to turn anything down if he's being honest Family: His parents passed in his thirties and he was an only child, still a bachelor as he prefers the academic life. Physical description: John (Jack) is a bit ruddy in the face, with dark hair and eyes, slightly tan skin though he can get very pale at times. He's well-built, athletic, a bit bigger in his middle age than he ever was before - this is an issue for him. His PB is Karl Urban. His hair tends to get too long to be "appropriate" for a teacher, but Flitwick always found him just sort of amusing. Which table do you belong in? House: Ravenclaw Occupation: Charms Professor, Hogwarts; Head of Ravenclaw House Other affiliations: Was a Prefect in Ravenclaw but passed over for Headboy, it didn't bother him much. A little more in depth Personality: Jack is sort of a typical "guy" - he too often doesn't think of what he's saying before he's said it, he likes dark beer, good smokes, and having his own place at the castle. He's a bit of a homebody when it doesn't involve drinking, likes his research and his wireless radio, and doesn't want to have to pick up after himself - he used to argue with his mum as a kid that it 'stifled his creative flow' or some such. He's got a temper when it comes to what he believes is 'right' but it very rarely comes out in front of his students. He loves his students, loves the feeling of having taught them something, but still gives them a hard time nearly all the time - can't let them see his soft and squishy side, now can he? Special abilities/strengths/flaws: Bit of a flaw but, he's always got his wand on him, it's like a safety blanket or something, he just doesn't feel right without it, but it could be his paranoia from being a muggleborn in the midst of all the wars growing up. He's bright but not flashy about it, a bit rough around the edges anyway, and certainly not all that into pleasentries. Huge Quidditch fan but still loves his muggle Football, too. Plots you see your character participating in: He's all about Neville becoming Headmaster, and will go seriously head to head over it if necessary. I'd like to see him be among people his age-ish - Oliver, Percy, Adrian, Alicia... (oh my goodness, I have something for those mid-late 70's babies, don't I?!) ...Anyone else want back story with him? Relevant backstory: Jack's been the Charms Professor at Hogwarts since Flitwick took over as Headmaster (shall we come up with a timeline for this?), having apprenticed under him for a couple of years. He was surprised at first at all the meticulous planning and procedure that teaching involved, but has since gotten the hang of it with his own system in place for lesson plans and the like. During the Second War he stayed with a distant Aunt in Dublin, something he really hates - even to this day - having had to do. He mostly went to protect his parents, not wanting them to get caught up in things, but he really wishes they'd all had the guts to fight. | |||||||||
